The 21-year-old Twitch streamer LetsHugo has an absolute criterion for what a potential woman must offer to date him: She must not only play Minecraft but have played it ten years ago.
This is the situation:
- LetsHugo was on a summer trip to the USA with fellow streamers Papaplatte, Reeze, and Rumathra.
- In a podcast “Edeltalk” by the popular Twitch duo Papaplatte and Reeze, who were together in 7 vs. Wild, the four talked about the topic “Women” while in a pool. This led to Papaplatte having very uncomfortable experiences in the podcast.
- During the conversation, the question arose about the dream woman of the 21-year-old streamer LetsHugo, known for his most important pickup line “Do you play Minecraft?”.
“I couldn’t date a woman who doesn’t know what Minecraft is”
These are his requirements for a dream woman: In casual chatting, they started talking about exclusion criteria for women. The one point that would make it impossible to be with an otherwise perfect woman:
- LetsHugo bursts out immediately: “I couldn’t date a woman who doesn’t know what Minecraft is.”
- Papaplatte follows up: “Why is that?”
- LetsHugo apparently doesn’t understand the question at all: “What happened in your life that you don’t know what it is?”
- Reeze jumps in, suggesting that she might have grown up isolated. It would be great to show the person you love this fantastic game.
- Papaplatte also tries again: It must be romantic to get to know each other to Minecraft sounds.
But LetsHugo takes it a step further: The most important thing is that his dream woman experienced the Minecraft hype, meaning she played Minecraft between 2013 and 2014.
As a reminder: LetsHugo is only 21, so at that time, he was about 10 years old – but it is important to him that his dream woman was also into Minecraft at that time, as he says.
“If she didn’t get into Minecraft back then, forget it”
This is LetsHugo’s clear demand: A woman who experienced the Minecraft hype, and then never played it again – he could imagine teaching her the new version as a compromise. But she must have played it ten years ago.
LetsHugo remains firm:
She should have started playing in 1.6, 1.7, 1.8 – if she didn’t start then, forget it.
A woman who he has to teach Minecraft to, and then she does everything wrong, would just drive him crazy, explains LetsHugo to his amused Twitch colleagues. He would then have to explain ALL crafting recipes to her.
That is of course unreasonable for anyone.
A girlfriend of LetsHugo would have had to love Minecraft at around 9 years old
When did the patches for Minecraft come out that LetsHugo still allows?
- Patch 1.6, the “Horse Update” was released on July 1, 2013
- Patch 1.7 – the “The Update that Changed the World” was released on February 26, 2014
- Patch 1.8, the “Bountiful” Update came out on September 2, 2014
A female peer or slightly younger girlfriend of LetsHugo must have fallen for the Minecraft hype when she was between 7 and 10 years old.
It would be more realistic if he just looked for a girlfriend who wouldn’t ask him if he is the Sated Hugo or the Hungry Hugo.
At least the 21-year-old would be a good catch, at least for the few women who meet his exquisite demands: Twitch streamer shows how much he earns with gaming videos on YouTube
