Today, June 11, 2023, a new game from the space franchise Star Wars was presented during the Xbox Games Showcase with Star Wars Outlaws.
Outlaws will be the first open world game in the Star Wars universe and comes from the house of Ubisoft.

The trailer begins with an intergalactic space battle and introduces the main character Kay Vess, who is on the run from bounty hunters. A small, fluffy companion named Nix is also present.
The events take place between the events of “The Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi.”
You explore foreign planets of the galaxy and make a name for yourself among the villains. Steal, deceive, outsmart galactic crime syndicates and become one of the most wanted persons in the universe.

Why does the trailer stand out? Microsoft showcased a whole range of games at the Xbox press conference, but after an hour, no game on reddit is discussed hotter than Star Wars.
Expectations for the title are high, after all, Star Wars is a huge franchise.
One user says many had assumed the game would be a kind of “The Division in the Star Wars universe.” However, the trailer now makes it seem more like a story-driven game.
Another big point of discussion is the developer “Ubisoft”: some have developed reservations against the French gaming giant. One of the most highly rated comments on YouTube is: “Ubisoft better not disappoint.”
