6. Bastion
Bastion on Steam
A surreal catastrophe has torn the world apart. In this action roguelike, you traverse different worlds and have an interactive narrator by your side who reacts to all your actions. The special part: the worlds of the game are hand-drawn.
5. Kenshi
Kenshi on Steam
Kenshi may not have the best graphics, but it makes up for it with its gameplay. As a player, you are set loose in a large open world that is dynamic and always changing. Together with your team, you experience sandbox-style gameplay and can choose your role: among other things, a trader, thief, or adventurer.
The special part: The game was developed by just one person, which is why it took 12 years in development. The game world of Kenshi is 10 times larger than that of GTA V, so there is plenty to discover and you shouldn’t get bored too quickly. Our list continues on the next page.
