What are addons? Addons are small programs that extend The Elder Scrolls Online with various features. From map overlays to completely new menus, almost everything is included. Unfortunately, addons can only be used on PC. Over the years, some addons have stood out that I personally can no longer do without in ESO.

How to Install the Addons
Download an extension from the internet. The downloaded file is packaged as a .rar file. You can unpack it with a program like WinRAR, for example.
Where are addons stored? Move the unpacked files to the addons folder of The Elder Scrolls Online. By default, the folder is located in Windows at C:UsersUserDocumentsElder Scrolls OnlineliveeuAddOns. If you’re using a Mac, the path is Users/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/.
How to activate the addons: Next, start The Elder Scrolls Online and activate the modification you want to use by checking it in the character screen or directly in the game under the “Add-ons” tab. You can also use obsolete addons by checking “allow obsolete add-ons”. Furthermore, add-ons can only be turned on and off for specific characters.
