Porygon2 and Porygon-Z

As if Porygon didn’t already have a curious design, the illustrators took it a step further with Porygon 2 and Porygon-Z. The two evolutions of Porygon were also never seen in the anime. These two Normal-type Pokémon come from the 2nd and 4th game generations. Therefore, there would have been enough time to showcase the pocket monsters in the anime.
By the way: Theoretically, Porygon also counts as a Pokémon that was not seen in the anime. It only had one appearance in the series, but that episode was banned from the TV schedule. Due to strong light effects from Pikachu’s attack, many children suffered epileptic seizures, which is why the episode was removed from the program.
Mortipot

The ghost Pokémon looks like a teapot and evolves from a teacup named Fatalitee. Mortipot is formed when the pre-evolution pours its tea into an old teapot. It can adopt two different forms, but neither version appears in the anime.
Mortipot is seen like Barrakiefa in the mini-series Pokémon: Twilight Wings. It is camouflaged as a teapot on a table starting at minute 2:36. Can you spot it?
Ursaluna, Myriador and Snieboss

All three Pokémon have in common that they first appeared in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. They are Hisui forms of already known Pokémon. Since the video game takes place in the past, these forms are likely extinct today.
This only applies to Snieboss, as Ursaluna and Myriador appear in the DLC for Scarlet & Violet. Therefore, it is possible that the two pocket monsters may have a future appearance in the anime.
Are there Pokémon that you would have liked to see more in the anime? Let us know in the comments! Personally, I am a big fan of Siebel, so I find it unfortunate that Snieboss never made it into the anime.
The success of Pokémon is so massive that it has become the largest anime franchise: For 27 years, Pokémon has been the largest anime franchise, although there was a time when Digimon was ahead
