4. Surtur
First appearance: Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Who is Surtur? Surtur is the ruler of Muspelheim and a powerful fire demon who was supposed to cause the fall of Asgard during Ragnarok. To prevent that, Odin fought against the demon and took away his Eternal Flame, essentially the source of his power.
For thousands of years, Surtur remained in Muspelheim until he was used by Thor to defeat Hela with the power of the Eternal Flame. In battle, Hela stood no chance against the demon, who also destroyed Asgard.
Although Surtur has no telepathic abilities or can manipulate molecules, he is a true powerhouse, especially with the Eternal Flame, which can even resurrect the dead. Surtur at full power could only be harmed by Odin.
What abilities does Surtur have? Through the Eternal Flame, Surtur has a destructive power that can annihilate entire planets.
