7. Hela
First appearance: Thor: Ragnarok (2017)
Who is Hela? Hela is the daughter of Odin and the goddess of death from Asgard. Together with her father, she fought many battles, but her ambitions were greater than Odin’s. She wanted to conquer even more realms. There was a coup, which Odin survived. Afterwards, he banished her to Hel, the realm of the dead in Niflheim.
After Odin died, she was able to break free. She attempted to seize the throne of Asgard again in order to conquer other realms with a new army. Although Thor and his comrades could not defeat her, he tricked her and used the entity Surtur to ultimately kill her.
Hela has enormous abilities that even exceed those of Thor and Loki. She was able to destroy Mjölnir and create Necroswords, which is why she ranks in 7th place.
What abilities does Hela have? As a being from Asgard, she is generally stronger than normal humans and only a few creatures (Odin or Surtur) have been able to defeat her.
- Superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and reflexes
- Self-healing
- Immortality (as long as Asgard exists)
- She can summon weapons
- Create portals
- Use magic (necromancy)
