Place 2: Frodo Baggins
Frodo is probably the most well-known Hobbit of all. But he had anything but an easy time. The fate of all of Middle-earth rested on him. Despite the looming dangers, he took on this burden and fought his way through all sorts of adventures.
His strength lay less in muscle power. Instead, he impressed through mental resilience. He bore the One Ring for many years and resisted its dark power.
When it came time to destroy the Ring, he reached his limits. By that time, however, he was already extremely exhausted and marked by the long journey. That he managed to get this far is already a small miracle. Thus, he rightly earned second place in this ranking.
