Morticia is the matriarch of the Addams family. Placing her at the top of this list could still be somewhat controversial. This is mainly because we rarely see her abilities in action.
Like her daughter, Morticia has clairvoyant abilities. However, Morticia’s visions are less strong and negative than those of Wednesday. This is because the clairvoyant gift in some ways reflects the worldview of its owner. The gloomy Wednesday is a “raven,” while Morticia represents a “dove.” Nonetheless, the ability to see into the future and thus be able to influence it is incredibly powerful. We also know that Morticia may have some form of connection to the spirit world.
In addition to her supernatural abilities, Morticia is an excellent fighter. During her school years, she was captain of the fencing club. Even today, she can still hold her own in a direct duel with her daughter.
Often, however, it comes down to wisely using one’s resources and acting tactically. Resorting to brute force rarely achieves the goal. Here lies another great strength of Morticia. She is smart, well-educated, and calm.
Essentially, she is an adult version of Wednesday who has learned to handle her abilities and temperament. However, she rarely shows her true power outwardly, which makes her potential somewhat difficult to assess. What do you think? Would you agree with the ranking?
