Rank 7: Geralt of Rivia
As the main protagonist of The Witcher, we know a lot about the legendary monster hunter Geralt of Rivia. Still, or rather because of this, it is particularly difficult to classify him in this ranking. Especially in the video games, as Geralt, we will defeat any boss sooner or later, no matter how strong they are. If necessary, there is always the wonderful superpower of quick loading.
If we focus on the lore, Geralt can do one thing above all: kill monsters. As a witcher, he was genetically modified and perfectly trained for combat. He is a master swordsman, experienced hunter, well-versed in witcher signs and powerful potions.
Even for a witcher, Geralt is exceptionally strong. As he showed an unusually high tolerance for witcher mutagens, further experiments were carried out on him. Thus, he got his iconic white hair and also became stronger, faster, more enduring – an overall stronger version of his witcher colleagues.
Geralt thus definitely has more to show than mere plot protection and therefore ranks 7th.
