Just slightly behind Bird Box, The Adam Project ranks in the chart. The film initially tells the story of the child Adam, whose parents are going through a separation. This event has left its mark on the boy. One day, however, a plane crashes near the house. Quickly it becomes clear: the pilot is a time traveler, namely the adult version of Adam.
While the two search for their father, armed enemies are hunting the unusual team. The result is an entertaining and emotional ride, which critics rate on Rotten Tomatoes at 68%. Users praise the casting and rate it at 73%, although they argue that there are better time travel movies.
