Place 6: Neville Longbottom

At first, one might wonder why the Sorting Hat placed Neville in Gryffindor. He is shy, forgetful, and clumsy, and does not seem like a typical hero. However, the amount of courage he possesses was already proven in his first year when he stood up to his friends.
Even more impressive is his development in the later parts. After Harry left Hogwarts, he, Ginny, and Luna took the lead of “Dumbledore’s Army.” Fiercely, he resisted the Death Eater regime, despite unpleasant consequences.
In the Battle of Hogwarts, he demonstrated true loyalty and courage, and was able to pull the Sword of Gryffindor from the Sorting Hat. He later killed Nagini with it, making him one of the few who destroyed a Horcrux.
Neville was particularly skilled in Herbology, a subject he later taught at Hogwarts after graduating.
