In the Witcher universe, there are often references to old fairy tales and legends. The Frog Prince resembles the Frog King from the fairy tale. Numerous ladies flocked to the Oxenfurt sewers in search of their fairy-tale prince. Here, a gigantic toad lived. In reality, it was indeed a cursed prince. Unfortunately, kisses did not lead to the desired goal. The toad preferred to devour the women whole.
Even as a witcher, fighting the Frog Prince is no child’s play. The large amphibian is surprisingly resilient and attacks not only with powerful jumps but also with nasty poison attacks. This poison is so potent that it gradually poisoned the entire water system of Oxenfurt.
Fortunately, this cursed being seems to be more of a one-off case, which one does not encounter very often.
