Arguably the most dangerous profession in Harry Potter is that of the Auror. An Auror is employed by the Ministry of Magic to protect the magical society from threats. Their main duties include tracking down and capturing Dark Wizards, which naturally often leads to duels that can result in serious injuries or even death.
Unlike the magical law enforcement patrol, which can be compared to our police, Aurors often work in secrecy. They are essentially the intelligence agency of the magical society. They are assigned particularly serious and dangerous cases.
Consequently, it is also quite challenging to be accepted for training. Not only are excellent grades required, but also high skill, endurance, and a good ability to handle danger.
Appropriately, Harry also takes on the profession of Auror after his time at Hogwarts. Through his years of fighting against Voldemort, he certainly has the necessary experience in battling Dark Wizards. And one should not underestimate his overall magical abilities.
