HIT
HIT is a beautiful action MMORPG, developed by the famous Korean game designer Yong-Hyun Park. He was involved in the Korean successful MMOs Lineage II and TERA. Therefore, HIT – which stands for “Heroes of Incredible Tales” – has the potential to be a real “hit”.
The Characters – Hit Group or Hero Group?
6 Heroes with Funny Names: The “Heroes of Incredible Tales” are – as is common in many Korean action RPGs – fixed personalities. The powerful knight Hugo, the archer Lena, the swordsman Lucas, the supporter Kiki, the ninja fighter Pyran, and the necromancer Anika are available for you to choose from.
That sounds more like a German pop group than a crew of epic heroes, but for Korean ears, such typical Western names might indeed sound exotic.
Action Gameplay for iOS
The Gameplay of HIT: HIT is a fast-paced action RPG similar to Diablo, where you slay through hordes of monsters. You smash them with quick fingers, and each hero also has special skills, combos, and even aerial attacks.
The Heroes’ Repertoire is also being expanded. The archer Lena, supporter Kiki, and recently Pyran were added through an update.
Action in Coop and PvP
You don’t have to play alone: HIT is also an MMO, so you prefer to play with other players in coop. In a team, you complete quests, go into dungeons, and take on the big raids. As a reward, there’s valuable loot that helps you upgrade your heroes.
PvP is also available: The game modes in PvP are as follows:
- 1vs1 Arena Duel
- 3vs3 Team Deathmatch
- Guild Wars with lots of players
Free2Play, but with flavor
Unfortunately, you can buy all sorts of powerful items for real money in the otherwise free HIT. This isn’t too bad in PvE, but in PvP, paying players have clear advantages.
If you want to play HIT, you can download it from the App Store using the provided link.
On the next page, there is another WoW MMO for iOS mobile devices.
