Two months later, he orders rebels to be executed, during which he is stabbed by “Zero.” However, this time it was not him behind Zero, but his companion Suzaku. This unites the entire world and brings peace.
Why is it rated so highly? Many fans feel that this episode features one of the best anime endings of all time. Many storylines come together here that previously made no sense and are clarified. It’s only now that many understand why Lelouch acted the way he did. The anime may not be perfect, but the grand finale is emotional and unpredictable.

What happens in the episode? Levi possesses a titan injection that allows humans to transform into the life-threatening giants. When the titan then eats another titan shifter, he can revert to his human form – without his previous injuries. This is how Eren intends to save his comrade Armin. However, the dying Erwin suddenly appears, leading to a dispute over who gets the life-saving injection.
Why is it rated so highly? The voice actors did a fantastic job in this episode. It is an emotional moment where the lives of two important characters hang in the balance. All the feelings of anger and sorrow come across incredibly well in this episode. Since the episode contains no fights or music, the moment of mourning feels even more impactful.

Why is it rated so highly? Legend of the Galactic Heroes is a rather obscure anime. However, fans of the series particularly appreciate the grand finale. For them, the last episode is so good because many mysteries are clarified without feeling rushed. The emotional death has also brought about a few tears. One user writes that the series even achieved what Game of Thrones failed to do (via IMDb).
