Why the Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered is worth it
MeinMMO tested the Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered.
We are particularly impressed by the very good ergonomics and the good build quality. The mouse fits comfortably in the hand. With 8 buttons, you have plenty of options that you can configure using the extensive software.
Who is the mouse suitable for? However, you should keep in mind that the Kone Aimo from Roccat is relatively large and at 130 grams, it is also heavier than comparable mice, in case you prefer lighter mice for gaming.
Additionally, the Aimo Remastered is a wired variant. The cable is permanently connected to the mouse and cannot be detached.
If you have a problem with a heavier, thus more stable mouse, you should look elsewhere.
What alternatives are there? If you are looking for a wireless gaming mouse that offers similarly good ergonomics, you should check out Logitech’s G502 Hero Lightspeed.

A very lightweight gaming mouse from Roccat would be the Roccat Burst Pro, which MeinMMO has also tested. An alternative would also be the Razer DeathAdder V2, which is both light and opts for good tactile switch buttons.
Why the Roccat Vulcan 121 is worth it
The keyboard from Roccat features an open design: The keyboards do not sit in a box or housing like other keyboards, but lay free. We at MeinMMO initially found the design a bit strange. At first, you often mistype, but after a while, you get the hang of it.
The wrist rest is detachable, and all keys can be configured or individually illuminated. There are six macro keys, and with EasyShift, you can assign dual functions to keys.
The keyboard’s cable is permanently attached and therefore not interchangeable. However, the keyboard does not provide a USB or audio connector for other devices (USB and audio passthrough).
A particular highlight is also the Titan switches that sit under the keys: These are suitable for both gaming and for people who write a lot. We at MeinMMO have had good experiences with Titan switches.
The Roccat Vulcan 121 is also a full-size keyboard. This means that you get a keyboard with a number pad. Additionally, there is a detachable wrist rest included.
Who is the keyboard suitable for? If you are looking for a keyboard that is suitable not only for gaming but also for writing, you should consider Roccat’s Vulcan 121.
You should note that the keys are somewhat higher due to the open design. At first, this may feel a bit unusual, but you will quickly get used to it. Additionally, you will be rewarded with good build quality, fast keys, and a great design.
By the way, Roccat now offers a variant of its Vulcan series without a number pad (TKL). We at MeinMMO tested the Vulcan TKL Pro.
This keyboard also features Roccat’s Titan switches; unlike the Vulcan 121, you can detach the USB-C cable on the back, making it more flexible.
