In Europe, it will be on May 3rd, but in North America, they are already celebrating the 2nd anniversary of TERA Rising due to the earlier release.

TERA Rising – a new beginning
The million-dollar project has gone through turbulent times. After a spectacular launch in May 2012, the Asian AAA title gradually lost players after a few months. What caused this? There is probably no single reason, but the lack of variety in the endgame, the monotonous quests, the frustrating enchanting system, and other weaknesses at the beginning contributed to it. At that time, the pay-to-play model was also considered outdated, which exacerbated the decline.
With the transition to free-to-play in February 2013, things started to improve again; the newly added “Rising” in the name symbolically heralded a new era, a fresh start. Since then, the action MMO has been doing quite well, although more could have been achieved.
In these 2 years, quite a bit has changed in the game. From several new dungeons to an alliance system where territories are fought over, to new battlefields and numerous improvements in game design, the online role-playing game has matured in many respects. In June, we can also expect the highly anticipated new Elin class, the Reaper, or in German, the “Blade Dancer”.
While there may still be weaknesses, they should not overshadow the birthday. We will address the current state of the game another time.
