According to some rumors, TERA could soon be coming to consoles. What’s the truth?
Job Openings at Bluehole
With its action-packed combat system, the MMORPG TERA is excellently suited for controller use – a feature that has long been implemented for the game. So what could be more obvious than bringing the game to consoles? This seems to be the thought that Bluehole now wants to put into action. As mmoculture reports, the developer has posted several job openings and is actively looking for developers to be able to offer the game in the future for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
The job listing states:
“Although TERA has been on the market for 5 years already, the innovative combat system and beautiful graphics ensure that TERA is one of the best games in the PC MMORPG genre. (…) Bluehole’s efforts have been limited to PC for many years. But now Bluehole is rapidly expanding into the mobile, console, and even virtual reality market.”

However, how long such a port to consoles will take remains entirely uncertain. With a release date still this year, no one should have to expect it.
