The MMORPG genre has rapidly grown and evolved over the years and decades. Aside from classics like World of Warcraft, there are also numerous titles that one might classify as more niche.
MMORPGs like Mad World have also earned their place in a 2.5D view in the browser, alongside the giant competitors, which now also include Final Fantasy XIV.
Furthermore, the average fan of the genre tends to not only play one MMORPG at a time. Our expert Alexander Leitsch even says it is foolish to play just one. If you follow this view, you have surely experienced several MMORPGs over the years.
But even today, thanks to current hits like New World and Lost Ark, completely new players are entering the genre. And then the question arises, which MMORPG should everyone have played at least once?
