The new game from Riot, Teamfight Tactics, is set to launch tomorrow. A new update will be released, which slightly weakens one of the game’s major villains: Aurelion Sol will be nerfed, as he was considered completely OP. We take a look at the patch notes in English.
This is the situation: Currently, “Teamfight Tactics” is still in a testing phase and is tied to the version of LoL. Players need to gain access to the LoL test server to play it. This is not that easy and requires a well-maintained LoL account.
Nevertheless, the autobattler is already a hit on Twitch.
But the balance is off. Some heroes are apparently too strong, while others are too weak. In a new patch, Riot is now addressing one of the toughest.
Already on Wednesday, June 26, Teamfight Tactics is supposed to have its official release and officially become part of the regular client – that’s what everyone expects.
This is the most significant nerf: It hits the dragon “Aurelion Sol”. He is clearly too strong and is considered in the first tier lists as “S” tier, which is the highest class.
In the new patch, his ultimate drops from 300-700 to 250-600 damage. Additionally, the mana cost increases from 100 to 120.
Teamfight Tactics, the latest patch notes
This is what’s in the new patch of Teamfight Tactics:
- Karthus‘ ability Requiem increases in damage from 300-800 to 350-850
- Morgana’s health goes up from 600 to 650
- Gangplank now deals 200-450 damage with his barrels instead of 150-450
- Miss Fortune receives 0.10 more attack speed, up to 0.85
- Lucian‘s base damage increases from 60 to 65, and his attack speed rises from 0.60 to 0.65
- Tristana also gains more attack speed (0.65 to 0.70) and the skill Explosive Charge goes up to 150-300 (previously 125-259)
- The origin “Wild” becomes overall weaker – now only 7% attack speed per stack instead of the previous 8%
- Nidalee will be separately nerfed as well: 150-600 HP instead of 200-600, and her damage in puma form decreases from 30-120 to 20-120
- Blitzcrank will see significant damage increase from 100-600 to 100-800
- Elise receives increased lifesteal from 60-100% to 60-120%, and spiderlings now have double health with 500
- Shen will deal more damage, 55 to 65

- Pyke receives a longer CC duration (2-3 to 2.5-3.5), mana costs decrease (125 to 100), and attack speed increases from 0.55 to 0.6
- Varus will have his casting time reduced from 2 seconds to 1.5 seconds
- Zed gains more attack damage in Teamfight Tactics (55 to 60) and more attack speed (0.6 to 0.65)
- Aatrox gets tankier (HP rises from 650 to 750), damage increases from 300-700 to 350-750
- Akali’s damage increases from 150-500 to 200-550, and attack speed rises from 0.7 to 0.76
- Darius loses 50 HP, going down from 650 to 600.
- Meanwhile, Yasuo‘s health increases by 50 to 700.

- Zeke’s Herald will be significantly weaker. The aura now increases attack speed by only 10% (previously 20)
- The Rapid Fire Cannon had a bug that tripled its range, which should now only be twice
- Spear of Sohjin now provides only 15% mana per attack instead of 20
- Stronger is Guardian Angel (revived with 500 health instead of 300)
- Ionic Spark now deals 200 damage instead of 100
- Luden’s Echo also deals 200 damage instead of 100
- The Thornmail now reflects 35% damage (previously 25%)
- The Warmog’s Armor increases health regeneration by 3 instead of 2.5%
