SWTOR is already 5 years old and is giving away some goodies to players – but only for a limited time.
Believe it or not, but by now Star Wars: The Old Republic is already 5 years old – at least since December 20, 2016. With over 5 years of development time, the makers at BioWare have now been working on the game for nearly 10 years and are still ensuring that content is regularly added.
The birthday is actually being celebrated starting today (December 13, 2016). Players can secure some bonuses, including a home on Dromund Kaas or Coruscant for only 5 Credits (rental price level -3 due to recent events).
Additionally, there are more items:
- Celebration Jawa for the 5th anniversary
- Senya Holostatue (serves as a teacher for class abilities)
- 7-piece poster collection featuring art from the entire SWTOR series (for decorating fortresses)
You can find the respective vendor at your faction’s fleet at the crew skills. However, they will only be present until January 17, 2017 – so there is just under a month left to collect the gifts on all characters.
Those who have remained loyal to SWTOR for 5 years and have been a continuous subscriber will even receive a special reward. A unique statue that has been placed in the stronghold of your choice. Yes, the rules for this are strict: Anyone who has not had an active subscription for even a single day in the past years will not receive the statue. So the few chosen ones can look forward to it.
