The new MMORPG Sword of Justice has revealed its release date and aims to captivate audiences in the West just as it has in China.
What kind of MMORPG is this? Sword of Justice is a theme park MMORPG in Wuxia style. This means it takes place in medieval China and features low-fantasy content like numerous martial arts, mythical creatures, and monsters.
In China, the MMORPG has already attracted over 40 million players, and now publisher NetEase wants to replicate that success in the West and has now announced a release date.

When does the new MMORPG launch? Sword of Justice will launch on November 7, 2025, for PC, iOS, and Android and will be free to play. Players can already pre-register on the official website and secure rewards for the game launch.
The pre-registration has already been completed by 3.5 million people in the West, indicating that the MMORPG could also be a success here. However, to keep players engaged, the developers have come up with some innovative features.
What sets this MMORPG apart? In addition to its beautiful graphics, Sword of Justice is a story-driven MMORPG. During the lengthy leveling phase, players not only learn about the game world but also have the opportunity to influence it. There are many different options available during the story, and even the NPCs have a special feature.

How mobile-friendly is the MMORPG? In the previous beta, players were already able to take a look at the new MMORPG. MeinMMO author Cedric Holmeier did just that and describes his experience as follows:
I like Asian MMORPGs, and countless currencies and menus don’t deter me. However, even for me, Sword of Justice felt convoluted in terms of menus and functions. For a quest, I needed to activate a mission from a menu. To find it, the game gave me its name and indicated that it was located in one of the menus in the top right. But there were several menus with submenus, and it took me minutes to find the mission.
The HUD during the beta was clearly designed for mobile play, and features like auto-walk to the next quest and auto-combat are available in Sword of Justice. It works very well, as it can use prepared rotations, making manual fighting nearly obsolete.
Sword of Justice didn’t seem very tailored for the Western market, which is a pity because I found it really beautiful and quite complex in terms of the many possible skills. The story and the NPCs also seem well thought out and diverse. During the main mission, you could solve tasks in various ways, which is rather unusual for MMORPGs. If you’re not afraid of menus and enjoy spending time building your character, you might really like this MMORPG.
