After Avowed, the second role-playing game from the RPG experts at Obsidian will be released in 2025. At gamescom 2025, the developers revealed the final release date of The Outer Worlds 2 with a trailer.
When is The Outer Worlds 2 coming out? Before the trailer was shown at gamescom, one of the Obsidian developers joked that they could now reveal the release date for Outer Worlds 2 since GTA 6 has been postponed to the coming spring.
The role-playing sequel to The Outer Worlds from 2020 is set to be released on October 29 for Xbox Series, Game Pass, PS5, Steam, and Battle.net. The single-player RPG will be offered in 2 variants:
- Standard version for 69.99 Euros
- Premium Edition for 99.99 Euros, with 5 days early access, 2 story expansions, art book, and other goodies
