Blizzard and SteelSeries have jointly introduced hardware in the design of WoW. In addition to a mouse and headset, there is also a mouse pad and a stylish keycap.
For the launch of the gamescom 2024 and the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft, Blizzard and the Danish manufacturer SteelSeries have introduced hardware in the style of WoW. The hardware is heavily inspired by WoW: The War Within and is said by SteelSeries to be available only in limited quantities.
PC Hardware in the Design of World of Warcraft
Is the hardware new? No, SteelSeries has not developed new hardware. Instead, this is a limited rebranding of old hardware. In total, there are 5 products with a new look. The prices are also slightly above those of the regular products:

What else is included? In addition to the physical items, there are a few in-game items associated with the various products. These include the mount Grinning Haunter, the companion Lil’Flameo, and the mount Battle Turtle.
Some mounts, such as the “Grinning Haunter,” were already available for purchase in the Battle.net shop. Lil’Flameo or Mini-Flameo is also expected to appear in a pet battle in “The War Within.”
When can the hardware be purchased? According to SteelSeries, the hardware will be available from September 24, 2024, about a month after the release of “The War Within.”
It is not the first time SteelSeries has teamed up with a developer to design special hardware. The last time there was special hardware in the style of Destiny 2. Here too, there was a special keycap: For Destiny 2, there is now a unique keycap for your keyboard that costs more than “The Final Shape”
