Fans of Deadlock can already battle with 21 heroes. But Valve has another character in the works that lets you nibble on enemies.
What kind of hero is this? It is Slork, an unfinished model of a male hero wearing a shark/fisher outfit. YouTuber Mon Facts gained access to the model with a console command that he does not elaborate on. What the new hero can do and how DOTA 2 fits into it will be revealed in the following section.
Slork mixes two heroes from DOTA 2
What makes the hero special? According to Mon Facts and a commenter under his video, Slork combines the heroes “Slark” and “Riki” from DOTA 2. Slark represents the outer appearance here, although it looks rather stunted in Slork’s current model.
As for the comparison to Riki, the YouTuber mentions seeing a similarity in one of his abilities. He disappears and becomes invisible when he has a large distance from his opponents.

Although Slork’s appearance looks very unfinished, there is already information regarding his skills. Here are the talents you can expect:
- Talent 1: “Riptide” – Send out a wave that knocks back opponents and can bounce off walls
- Talent 2: “Chomp” – Jump and grab an enemy to bite them
- Talent 3: “Deep’s Embrace” – Envelop yourself in water (effect still unknown)
- Talent 4: “Ambush Predator” – Attack from ambush with multiple targets
Slork is still in development by Valve, and many changes regarding his appearance and functionality are therefore not set in stone yet. Despite this, you can see through Slork that Valve is still working on other heroes that could potentially be released with the full launch of Deadlock.
