Patrick’s personal recommendation from 02.07: Prison Architect
I have strongly wavered between the GTA IV Edition and Prison Architect for today’s recommendation – I have put a lot of time into both games and was well entertained. However, I recommend the prison architect to you today because it is more of a hidden gem than GTA IV. In Prison Architect, a lot of fun awaits you combined with tricky tasks. From designing the prison to logistical tasks like food distribution, there is a lot of variety in this game.
In a tutorial, the game is explained to you and then you can already start building the first walls of your first prison. You start with a limited starting capital and earn money by completing small challenges (expand the number of individual cells to 100, hire more security personnel…) as well as watching out for smuggled goods and paying attention to your sniffer dogs when they sniff out a tunnel. To be successful in Prison Architect, you must have compassion for the prisoners but also act tough at the right moment.
