Patrick’s Conclusion
I went into this year’s Steam Summer Sale with mixed feelings – Particularly worried about my money. On the internet, the typical “Summer Sale? RIP Wallet” memes appeared, which didn’t exactly calm me down. I was relieved when there were no flash deals. Sure, you could save a bit more money on a game, but I still have games in my Steam Library from previous sales that I have never touched.
I was able to think for a long time during this sale about whether I really wanted to buy a specific game – Without an 8-hour countdown indirectly saying “buy it!” Of course, this sale was also special for me because I got to present my recommendations to you. So far in this sale (there are still a few hours left till the end, in which a lot can happen) I have bought:
BioShock 1+2 (For owners of the games, the remastered version is available for free!), a few PayDay 2 DLCs, and The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt + Expansion Pass. While I’m not as hardcore as this player who owns over half of the Steam library, the sale was still worth it for me.
