The gaming platform Steam regularly launches major sales events with often significant discounts. It is now known when the total of 14 events will take place.
Here you will find all dates for the major planned sales from Steam. If you have an eye on a game but don’t want to pay full price, patience can definitely pay off.
At the end of August, there will be a special strategy sale – during this period, many strategy games will be cheaper. However, the biggest sale events are considered to be the Winter Sale and the Summer Sale. Here you will find all dates:
- Mystery Festival: 20.02. – 27.02.
- Puzzle Festival: 24.04. – 01.05.
- Spring Sale: 16.03. – 23.03.
- Sports Festival: 15.05. – 22.05.
- Game Preview: 19.06. – 26.06.
- Summer Sale: 29.07. – 13.07.
- Stealth Game Festival: 24.07. – 31.07.
- Visual Novels Festival: 07.08. – 14.08.
- Strategy Festival: 28.08. – 04.09.
- SHMUP Festival: 25.09. – 02.10.
- Game Preview: 09.10. – 16.10.
- Steam Scream Festival: 26.10. – 02.11.
- Autumn Sale: 21.11. – 28.11.
- Winter Sale: 21.12. – 04.01.
At the time of writing, the Mystery Festival is underway. The focus here is on Mystery / Detective / Social Deduction.
The participation conditions are quite strict according to Steam – not every game is allowed to participate in a sale. Check out Steam’s German blog post about the sales to find the sale where your desired games might be included – via steam.com.
