Every year, gamers look forward to the big sales events on Steam. Hundreds of game titles are drastically reduced in price, and most players can pick up a few titles that will then languish unplayed in their Steam accounts for years.
There is always a big secret surrounding the exact dates of these sales, but in 2018, the guessing seems to be over. An internal developer source has revealed the dates for the upcoming discount campaigns to Kotaku.
The dates for the Steam Sales 2018
Which sales are we talking about? The dates have been published for:
- Steam Halloween Sale
- Steam Autumn Sale
- Steam Winter Sale
When does the Steam Halloween Sale take place? The Halloween sale starts, not surprisingly, around Halloween. The discount event begins on October 29 and runs until November 1.
When does the Steam Autumn Sale take place? The Autumn Sale lasts a week as in previous years and starts on November 21. It ends 6 days later on November 27.
When does the Steam Winter Sale take place? The largest event is the annual Winter Sale around the Christmas shopping period. For two weeks, there are plenty of discounted games on Steam, namely from December 20, 2018, to January 3, 2019.
Please keep in mind that these dates are not yet officially confirmed, but the leak seems credible. According to this information, you just have to wait a few more days until the Halloween Sale, the first discount event, begins.
