On Steam you now have the opportunity this month to build in a game from the developer studio Randwerk, only to do exactly the opposite afterward. In the puzzle game ABRISS, the name says it all, and what that means you will learn here.
What to expect: ABRISS is a puzzle game that at first glance doesn’t look like one based on the trailer. What you get to see are various structures being torn down with various machines, wrecking balls, and explosions.
The game is available since September 5, 2023 on Steam, for just €15. The game has already received many positive reviews, and combined with the price, this could justify a closer look at it.

What the developers promise with ABRISS is an atmospheric physics destruction building game. What one can imagine under this might be clearer with the following features:
- Combine different parts to build unique structures
- Use your creativity to build your structures with as few parts as possible
- Use your built structures to tear down your objectives
- Destroy the main target blocks to create a level
- Seven different campaigns with multiple levels, plus bonus levels
In addition to these gameplay features, the developers also promise numerous playability elements that should make ABRISS a fun experience. You can try to beat the high score in an endless mode, capture your creations with a photo or gif mode, or upload them to the Steam Workshop.
What do the reactions reveal? If the trailer and description couldn’t convince you, perhaps the reviews will, as they are indeed very positive.
User Ae (via Steam) recommends the game for its unique style, really atmospheric environment and music, and because it’s simply satisfying to watch the destruction.
