8 mysterious clouds will appear in the Bubble. The Bubble, also known as Core Systems or Core Worlds, consists of several star systems. Among the areas is a region where a large portion of the human population resides.
Each cloud is labeled with a name and a marker, allowing players to scan the clouds and mark them as targets. Next, they can fly into the clouds. They will encounter the inhabitants, whose behavior they should observe closely.
Once the clouds are in position, a war will break out. The Thargoids will begin sending out ships to destroy human buildings, including important structures like starports.
Players who are fans of combat gameplay can position themselves at a base and attempt to push back the enemy forces. Conversely, those who wish to support humanity in a more peaceful manner can undertake other missions, such as important deliveries.
The developers of the game believe that the new update and the major events in the game will provide suitable gameplay for all play styles.
That the future in Elite Dangerous will not be too rosy has been expected. MeinMMO spoke with the lead developer of Elite Dangerous, Luke Betterton, in October 2022, who announced for the future: “Your suffering is just beginning.”
