About 2 years ago, a digital girl made her debut on Steam. Many users decorated their own profiles with her. However, she has not been seen on Steam for about a year, which is why many players miss her painfully.
What kind of girl is she? The girl with pink hair is often referred to as “Steam Delivery Girl” or “Steam Sale Girl”. She was drawn by the Chilean artist Nemupan, often wears a helmet with cat ears, and rides a moped. Always by her side: a small, plump cat.
For the first time, the Delivery Girl appeared during the Spring Sale 2024. Here, players could buy avatars with her in the point shop or purchase profile backgrounds and stickers for chat featuring the pink-haired girl.
During the Summer, Autumn, and Winter Sale 2024, the girl returned with her moped to the point shop. Valve usually commissions different artists each year to design the banners for the 4 major sales. However, the year 2024 was dominated by the same artist.

What has become of the Delivery Girl? Since Valve wants to give other artists the chance to design the banners for the sales, the Delivery Girl will not be returning for the time being. About a year ago, after the Winter Sale 2024, the artist said goodbye to her fans on Instagram with a farewell letter:
I want to write a few final words to conclude the project and wrap up this fantastic year. I want to thank the community for all the nice messages, fan art, and memes. I have loved every bit of it.
On Instagram or X, you can still admire her art. But the official Delivery Girl remains missing. Fans on Reddit are therefore speculating about what she is currently delivering.

- Yindy_ still enjoys her: “She is always there when I start my Steamdeck.”

However, whether and when the Steam Delivery Girl will return is not known. This will only be revealed with future sales.
