After the launch of Starfield, the game has relinquished the throne of the most wished-for game on Steam, and the new number one is something completely different. The now second-placed co-op game Party Animals
has emerged as a rather chaotic successor.
What is it about? Starfield has made a good start after its launch. Whether Party Animals will fare similarly is still uncertain, but the fact is that, according to SteamDB, it is currently the most wished-for game on the platform. Over 480,000 users want the game, which will be released on September 20, 2023, at present.
Party Animals is significantly different from its predecessor. In short, it is a cooperative party game where you can fight against each other or team up to fight together and complete various tasks.

What does the trailer show? In Party Animals, your game characters are, as the name suggests, cute little animals. However, they are mostly chaotic and appear almost drunk because of the sluggish and restricted controls. Just like at a real party.
The gameplay shown in the trailer is reminiscent of similar titles like Human Fall Flat, Gang Beasts, or Fall Guys. The characters move clumsily across the playfield, and with the implemented realistic physics engine, it is supposed to provide a lot of laughs among friends.

You can play the game locally or in online co-op and knock each other down on different maps in many different ways. You use weapons like baseball bats, frying pans, or even lollipops.
However, the trailer also shows that the game is probably not just about pure fights against each other. Various scenes where coal is carried around or a soccer ball is rolled promise stages that require teamwork to complete.
