A player has recreated a huge Star Destroyer from Star Wars in Starfield and pushed the limits of the ship builder.
What kind of Star Destroyer is this? A user named ‘DotElectronic7174’ shared pictures of his latest ship on Reddit: a massive Star Destroyer that SciFi fans should recognize from Star Wars.
The post garnered over 2,400 upvotes and 220 comments in the Starfield subreddit within a few days. Many players are impressed by the construct and find the implementation really well done.

However, to adequately implement the monstrous dimensions of the imperial warship, DotElectronic7174 had to remove the limits of the ship builder.
At the same time, he made it clear why the limits exist at all and why a huge Star Destroyer is not the ideal spaceship for shopping in cities like New Atlantis – it is way too big to land properly (via Reddit).
Player has to “cheat” to build a Star Destroyer
How did he remove the limits of the ship builder? DotElectronic7174 removed the limits of the ship builder with a mod that has the fitting name ‘Ship Builder Unrestricted’.
The mod allows you to build ships of any size and also lifts limits like shields or reactor limits and is available on the well-known site NexusMods.com.
Modifications are part of the game in this SciFi RPG and are also supported by Bethesda themselves. Starfield was developed to be played long-term and according to Game Director Todd Howard is a paradise for modders.
The shipbuilding of Starfield is a truly fascinating feature. Many players build impressive creations or model legendary ships from various movies, series, or video games.
Accordingly, it was not surprising that shipbuilding was one of the most popular responses when the Starfield community discussed the best features of the game:
