On “Star Wars Day,” nice offers and bonuses await at SWTOR and Battlefront . Learn more about it in this article.
On May 4th, it is again “Star Wars Day” (in English “May the Fourth” sounds like “May the Force,” so in German: “Möge die Macht…”) and this is the reason for most games of this franchise to release some bonuses and discounts. The strongest attractions of the Star Wars universe right now are “Star Wars: The Old Republic” and “Star Wars: Battlefront,” which therefore celebrate this day in a special way.
Chapter 1 of Knights of the Fallen Empire for free and bonus companion
Star Wars: The Old Republic offers a trial offer for undecided players. Those who have not yet set foot in the current expansion “Knights of the Fallen Empire” can expand their account on the official SWTOR site and thus gain free access to the 1st story chapter until May 30th, to experience the entry into the epic story surrounding the eternal empire.
Furthermore, all players who log in until May 4th can look forward to a new companion. The M4-I6 astromech droid, styled after Zakuul, will arrive in players’ mailboxes on May 5th.
Ultimately, from May 3rd to May 10th, there is again a double XP weekend, where, as the name suggests, the experience points gain is doubled. This allows reaching the maximum level even faster.
Play Battlefront on PC for free and grab credits
For Star Wars: Battlefront, EA has also come up with something very special – at least when the preferred platform is PC. On May 4th, the game can be downloaded via the Origin software and then tested for 4 hours with all features before access disappears again. Those who have not yet gotten an impression of the shooter should take advantage of this opportunity.
Additionally, on all platforms, there is a bonus package. Those who log in on May 4th can look forward to 4,444 credits, which can then be spent freely on upgrades or skins.
