Only a few days left until the new Star Wars film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters, and players of the online shooter Star Wars: Battlefront are actively joining the battles with the DLC Rogue One: Scarif!
To get you ready for the adventures, Electronic Arts and DICE released a new trailer for the DLC. The video gives you a good insight into the battles that await you on the planet Scarif and in orbit. As seen in the trailer, it is a tropical world that could be a paradise. But here, a fierce war is taking place between the Rebel Alliance and the dark Empire.
Battle on Land and in Space
AT-AT walkers and TIE fighters make it hard for the Rebels, who are defending themselves by all means. They receive support from the heroine Jyn Erso, while the Imperial forces are led by Commander Krennic. But there is also fighting in space. X-Wing fighters and TIE fighters are engaged in a fierce battle for the gate through the shield surrounding the planet. The battles in the DLC Rogue One: Scarif take place on multiple levels.
Season Pass holders can fight earlier – DLC release approaching
Players with the Season Pass for Star Wars: Battlefront can join starting December 6. Everyone else will have to wait two weeks longer. Alongside Rogue One: Scarif, the DLC Rogue One: X-Wing VR Mission will also be released for PlayStation VR owners, who will get to experience a space combat mission in virtual reality.
If you don’t own the online shooter Star Wars: Battlefront yet, you can get the Ultimate Edition, which includes all DLCs and the Season Pass. This way, you can plunge into the battles of Rogue One: Scarif starting on December 6.
