Almost as cold as Carbonite
On November 17, Star Wars Battlefront will be released. In America, they have obviously thought a bit further ahead and are preparing for players not to leave their little gaming headquarters for several days. At American Walmart, the Deluxe Edition of Battlefront can be pre-ordered for a proud $130 – it not only comes with the base game and some virtual extras, but also with its own small refrigerator!
The refrigerator not only holds 6 cans of your favorite beverage but also has a heating function to keep food warm while the forces of the Republic need to be repelled. A Star Wars refrigerator would be only half as convincing without an appropriate motif: In front awaits Han Solo along with his famous Carbonite encasement, as seen in “The Empire Strikes Back”. Whether players can demand a similar price like Jabba the Hutt is questionable.
