The beta for the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront is set to start in early October.
As EA announced, a technical test, a beta, will be launched in early October. This will be available on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and via Origins on PC.
Playable will be the 40-player battle “Walker Assault on Hoth”. Here players can also take on the roles of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.
Additionally, there are the “Survival Missions” on Tatooine, where players must fend off imperial waves in the service of the Rebels – and a third mode “Drop Zone” will also be playable in the beta, though it has yet to be introduced.
During the beta phase, they also want to test the Star Wars Companion App, along with the strategy card game “Base Command.” With this, players will be able to earn in-game credits for Battlefront.
How can one participate in the beta for Star Wars Battlefront? Where to sign up?
In the internet forum “reddit,” DICE employees supplemented the sparse information from EA: It is said to be an open beta. Anyone who registers can participate. Registrations have not started yet.
