The latest patch for Star Trek Online is live. Season 11.5 brings a new skill system and “special” enemies.
Na’kuhl – The iconic Nazi aliens from the past
Since April 12, 2016, the latest patch for Star Trek Online has been active. Update 11.5 introduced a major overhaul of the talent system, a second specialization for all captains, and the new enemy faction Na’kuhl. This alien species was only mentioned in the series “Enterprise”, as they played a central role in the storyline of the “Temporal Cold War”, when they traveled through a time channel to Earth in the 20th century. There, they needed the help of the Nazis to build a new time channel (please don’t question why Nazis suddenly cooperate with aliens).
The Na’kuhl are back and offer a new threat to combat after the end of the Iconian Wars.
Plans for the future of Star Trek Online are already in place, but it’s still too early to discuss the new exploration system of Season 12. The developers want to wait until everything is truly “set in stone” to avoid raising false hopes that cannot be fulfilled.
