The SciFi MMO Star Trek Online is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series “Star Trek: The Next Generation”. Additionally, you receive a free shuttle. Furthermore, you are gifted a uniform from the new Star Trek series Discovery.
Star Trek Online takes place after the conclusion of the last Star Trek movie storyline in the old timeline, but covers all other Star Trek eras of this timeline. Therefore, you can easily mess around in the past and explore the universe during the time of Kirk and Spock.
With the latest bonus content, they even go further back in time: to the era from Star Trek: Discovery.
Sparkly uniforms and TNG shuttle for free!
Star Trek Discovery is the latest series in the Star Trek universe and also takes place in the classic timeline. However, in the 2250s (well over 10 years before the Star Trek Classic series with Kirk and Spock), while the official STO occurs in 2410.
But regardless of whether over 100 years lie between the two narrative worlds, you get the chance to obtain a uniform from Discovery for free. The clothes with the sparkly look may not appeal to every fan, but they definitely stand out! Additionally, there is a fun “Type 7 Shuttle” from the cult series “Star Trek: The Next Generation” (TNG).
Anniversary promotion for the 30th anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation
The reason for the two gifts is the 30th anniversary of TNG. To receive your uniform and the shuttle, you only need to open the “Promotions” tab in the shop on PC or console, and you can wear sparkly uniforms while making the universe unsafe with the shuttle.
However, the promotion is valid only until October 31, 2017, at 6:00 PM.
