The space MMORPG Star Trek Online is now celebrating its 6th birthday – this means numerous bonuses for players.

Star Trek Online is finally being recognized! – At least, if you go by its age. Time flies, as the SciFi MMORPG invites you to celebrate its already 6th birthday. Time is also a special keyword, as during the celebrations players can experience the new episode “The Wheel of Time,” traveling to the 28th century and witnessing the signing of the Temporal Accord.
Another highlight is the Omega particle game, which returns to the game world for the duration of the festivities. Q demands that you find and stabilize the particles throughout the galaxy in order to exchange them for reward coupons. The coupons can ultimately be redeemed for upgrade kits, episode rewards, or even a completely new Krenim research ship.
Even more gifts await from January 26 to February 1, as during this time the developers will distribute an item from the C-store to all players who log in during the relevant period each day. What the items will be will only be revealed over the course of the event.
The entire celebratory events for the 6th birthday, with the exception of the C-store gifts, will last from January 28 to February 24.
