As part of Gamescom, Star Citizen opens its doors for a test flight.
We have experienced this several times already: At trade fairs, Star Citizen releases a code that allows players to install the client even if they are not at the fair.
However, it is always just a relatively limited version of the game, a kind of “demo.” But to take a look at what so many are talking about, it might be worth a try. The playable version is the beta version of the “Arena Commander.” This is the space shooter module of the massive project Star Citizen.
The code you can use to start the test flight is called “GAMESCOM2015” this time. You need to go to this page of Roberts Space Industry, create a new account, and enter the code.
You can fly and shoot until August 19.
