Diversify your squad
In Squad Busters, there are different roles with various units that can make up your squad. A balanced and thought-out mix is key to assembling a strong squad.
Currently, there are the following roles:
- All-rounder
- Attacker
- Defensive
- Healer
- Speedster
- Supplier
When assembling your team, it should not consist only of units from one role. Make sure you have defenders who can draw the damage from the enemy troops while your attackers deal damage to the opponent.
You should also rely on healers and speedsters to make your squad more balanced. Suppliers can round out your squad to better respond to specific situations or ensure a better supply of resources.
Use the Fusion
If you collect a unit three times, you automatically trigger the fusion with them. This gives you a stronger unit of the same type.
You should prioritize this from the start. The fused units are significantly better than the regular variant of the units.
This can give you a huge advantage, especially at the beginning of a game when your attackers, for example, deal much more damage than they would without fusion.
Don’t underestimate the Suppliers
Don’t underestimate the units from the Supplier role. If you have Greg in your squad, for instance, you gain the ability to chop down trees. By doing so, you can collect additional jewels and coins.
If you recruit the Goblin into your team, you gain additional coins, allowing you to build your squad faster.
Use the sprint wisely
In Squad Busters, you have the option to sprint. While it may be tempting to use this ability to move faster, you should rather use it as a defensive tool.
With a well-timed sprint, you can distance yourself from approaching enemy troops and evade their attacks. This way, you can preserve your units’ health and counter-attack when the timing is better.
Keep the goal in mind
The goal of the game is to collect the most jewels. Fighting against enemy squads is therefore secondary to achieving this goal.
You should focus on building your own squad and collecting jewels, rather than charging wildly at the enemy squads. This should only be a means to achieve your goal.
