The digital revenue of The Division is enormous: Ubisoft’s MMO shooter clearly knocks Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 off its throne in March.
According to a recent analysis by the market research company SuperData, The Division generated over 109 million US dollars in digital revenue in March 2016. Thus, Ubisoft’s post-apocalyptic shooter leads the console rankings clearly ahead of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and FIFA 16. CoD brought in “only” 48 million dollars in comparison.
Also at the top of the ranking of PC DLCs, The Division outperformed Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Starcraft 2.
This allows Ubisoft Massive to now credit two more successes and continue the list of records that The Division has already achieved. For example, the beta record of The Division or the strong sales figures of the cover shooter can be mentioned.
