Players are rightfully envious of this spot in Pokémon GO. One trainer shows what insane luck he has at home. The wild Pokémon are literally stacking up there.
On reddit, a player shared a screenshot from his Pokémon GO game at home. The special thing about the picture is that many wild Pokémon are visible on it. Usually, significantly fewer spawn at one spot on the map, and trainers need to visit stops and gyms to catch many Pokémon.
The trainer’s insane luck makes other players envious. Many would also love to have such a hotspot right at home.
The trainer doesn’t understand how he got so lucky
This is what the player says: On reddit, ChiefOfAllChiefs writes, “I love being in the middle of nowhere, but for some reason my house is a crazy hotspot for Pokémon. Does anyone know why?” He also posted a screenshot with many Petznief, Tauros, Schneppke, and Botogel.
What is seen in the image? The spot in the game shows about 28 Petznief, two Schneppke, one Tauros, and one Botogel. All gathered in one place. This screenshot apparently comes from the spotlight hour on Tuesday. However, even away from such events, there are still incredibly many spawns at the player’s home.

This is how trainers react: The comment with the most upvotes says: “You are the chosen one,” and many trainers agree. Some ask if they can visit the trainer.
Others wonder if the spawns have always been like this – ChiefOfAllChiefs confirms: “It’s been like this since 2016. Friends and acquaintances even came to my house because it always looks like this.”
Trainer Iconicism tries to explain: “It might be a glitch. Or you might be the only person in a large radius, so all the Pokémon that would otherwise spawn elsewhere appear in one spot with you. But that’s wild, haha.”
But with all the nice spawns, there are also problems. Because as the trainer already wrote, he lives in the middle of nowhere. His problem is the Poké Balls that can be collected from stops and gyms. “Unfortunately, the nearest stops are about 10 minutes away. It’s both a curse and a blessing,” explains ChiefOfAllChiefs.
