Yesterday, many players experienced the most important press conference of E3 2017, hosted by Sony. We present the highlights.
The E3 is the most important gaming fair of the year. The Sony conference is perhaps the one with the most highlights. Yesterday it took place at an ungodly hour; we summarize the highlights of Sony E3 2017 for you.
Sony E3 2017 – the Multiplayer Highlights
There were three highlights that are particularly interesting for fans of our site: that is “online multiplayer titles”:
- The highlight of E3 2017 for many users of our site is clear: Destiny 2 finally has a beta date. Furthermore, it is now known when Destiny 2 will launch on PC. A trailer was also presented. One of the highlights of Sony’s press conference at E3.

- Another highlight: The beta of Call of Duty WW2 has a date. Here a multiplayer trailer was shown. After COD disappointed last year with a futuristic scenario, the enthusiasm for the “World War II setting” seems to be significantly higher.

- A third highlight, which is interesting for multiplayer players is: Monster Hunter World is coming to current-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One and for PC. Until now, the highly interesting Monster Hunter franchise has been primarily a phenomenon in Asia and for handheld consoles. Monster Hunter Online, which has intrigued many on our site, unfortunately never made it to the West. Monster Hunter World launches for PS4 and Xbox One in early 2018 – for PC a bit later.

Sony E3 2017: There were also some “non-multiplayer highlights”
- Horizon Zero Dawn is receiving an expansion titled “The Frozen Wilds” – it will be released in 2017. Horizon Zero Dawn is a PS4 exclusive title.
- There is a new God of War, the camera is now positioned over Kratos’s shoulder. Sony says the new God of War will be released in early 2018.
- Shadow of the Colossus – the cult title is getting a “remake” for PS4.
- Days Gone – An exciting game that revolves around zombie hordes, villains, and a nasty bear:
