The streamer Jerry “ConnMan1969” Conn enjoys playing Call of Duty on Twitch. When the 53-year-old veteran from the USA gets his first viewer, his son shares a video of it on TikTok. The gesture went viral and has garnered a lot of attention in a short time.
Who is the streamer? ConnMan1969 enjoys playing Warzone on Twitch because he can play it “tactically” as he has trained. He likes to play with viewers and meet new gamers – but he is not a hardcore player; he laughs a lot while playing.
ConnMan1969 has only been on Twitch since February 19. However, within a short time, he has gained thousands of followers and even a few dozen subscribers – thanks to a gesture from his son.
A similar story happened in January, when a female streamer was just nice to her only viewer:

This is the story: Jerry’s son runs a small channel on TikTok where he posted the first steps of his father on Twitch in just 9 seconds. The streamer briefly welcomes his first viewer.
Nevertheless, the short clip has amassed over 729,000 views within a week and has been picked up by various highlight channels.
Journalist Jake Lucky also featured the video on his Twitter channel. There, the post received another 595,000 views within a day:
What did this bring? The attention on the older streamer attracted 3,359 followers to the channel within a week. According to Jake Lucky, nearly 50 people have already subscribed to ConnMan1969.
In a further TikTok video, the son shows how the streamer follows each of his followers back “to spread a little love” and is also looking for prominent players for his father on the platform.
Exact data on ConnMan1969’s channel cannot yet be retrieved as the channel is simply too young. However, some people on Twitter note that the performance is remarkable – they have not even joined the affiliate program after months or years.
