Similar to Solo Leveling: Arise, Karma appears to be an action RPG that seems to focus on action-packed gameplay as an isometric dungeon crawler, visually reminiscent of the roguelite hit Hades.
Players once again take on the role of protagonist Sung Jinwoo and face a variety of opponents. Netmarble promises that the game “tells a story that was never revealed in the original work”.

What is the focus of the game? The focal point of the game is said to be the 27-year gap that the anime’s story leaves behind, leaving fans pondering since then. Players are supposed to relive Sung Jinwoo’s endless war and have the ability to turn back time.
The game revolves primarily around the war of the monarchs. Jinwoo presumably uses time manipulation to confront the monarchs in a dimensional rift again, who are key antagonists of the anime.
It could also be conceivable that it is not just an action game but also a roguelite where you start anew with each run (permadeath) but can retain permanent progress like new skills or upgrades. Randomly generated levels and a high difficulty level are typical.
However, the exact genre has not yet been confirmed, and a release timeframe is still pending. Only the focus of the story and a few glimpses of the gameplay are revealed in the announcement trailer.
