Smuggler’s Run is the new DLC for GTA 5 Online, which will be released next week. Get ready for plenty of action in the air!
The nervous Ron is looking for a business partner for his rising smuggling empire. In GTA 5 Online, the new Smuggler’s Run DLC hopefully brings a fresh approach to money collection. In the trailer, we see a lot of action with planes and helicopters. It’s coming soon!
GTA 5 Online: DLC Smuggler’s Run Release Date
The new DLC is expected to arrive next Tuesday. The Smuggler’s Run update for GTA 5 Online is set to release on August 29, 2017. By the way, the name “Smuggler’s Run” comes from an older title by Rockstar Games from the year 2000.
The update takes you high into the air over Blaine County and Los Santos. New business opportunities will be offered to you, and many new planes and helicopters will be available. With these aircraft, you can transport your goods and drop them at the destination.
You can even customize the new planes in Smuggler’s Run to your liking. To prevent them from being stolen, there are new hangars. These new properties will also be your headquarters from which you can control the smuggling business.
You will be accompanied by the nervous Ron, who will explain the business to you. As an assistant, “Charly” will be by your side.

More stunts, vehicles, and action this fall
For the fall, you can look forward to new stunt races taking place on the road, in the water, and in the air. Again, you will need to master vehicles and prove your skills.
As a special twist, there will be new checkpoints that adapt your vehicles to the new track section. If there is water ahead, you will turn into a water vehicle, on the road to a car or motorcycle, and in the air to an aircraft.
New land and air vehicles are on their way to you, just like new adversary modes where you can earn a lot of GTA$ and RP. Holiday events for Halloween and Christmas shouldn’t be missed this year either, and Rockstar points out that you can expect game specials.
